Underworld 3: Rise of The Lycans 2009 Movie

Making a 2009 Movies bow, the Underworld series rolls on with Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. This new 2009 movie sequel explores the origins of the centuries old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires called the Death Dealers and their one time race of slaves, called the Lycans.

The Underworld series is in the vampires and werewolf film genres. In previous Underworld installments, the Lycans were the guardians of the Vampire's lairs during the daylight hours, but they revolted during the Middle Ages after centuries in that role. Both of these opposing sides have their own chains of command. Vampires have the Death Dealers, the warriors sworn to fight and kill the Lycan enemies.
